About the Course

This new CAS course offers delegates an increased understanding of selecting, specifying, planting and maintaining young trees in the landscape, delivered by Keith Sacre, chair of the BS:8545 Committee.

Course Content

The new course will examine in full the whole process of successfully transplanting young trees into the landscape including:

  • Site evaluation and constraints assessment
  • The selection of appropriate tree species
  • Nursery production methods and the specification of nursery trees
  • Tree planting and subsequent maintenance.
