Fungi at Kew Gardens

Fungi at Kew Gardens

We are now well in to January, with the greyness associated with this month. Given recent stormy
weather, I am appreciating that I no longer climb trees as part of my work! Next Tuesday sees the
launch of the new Lantra Mortgage course and I am delighted that it is fully booked. If you wish to
attend a future course, please do let me know as I am working on dates and venues. Bookings are
being taken for Myerscough at the end of May. Details of the event next week will be sent out
shortly.

Bookings are also being taken for the Young Trees course at Barcham Trees in April.
And for those of you wishing to develop your skills in report writing, peer reviews for BS5837:2012
are available at any time. If you are not sure whether your work is ready, an informal appraisal is
available. Contact me for more details. Next week, there will be news on a new mentoring forum
soon to be launched on this topic.

Finally, we have the latest instalment from Laura Martin as she explores some of the notable fungi at
Kew Gardens. Viewers of a sensitive disposition should be aware that she will be using colourful
language in this....
