About the Tutor

Dr Jon Heuch has 30 years of arboricultural experience, and is a Level 6 Diploma examiner for the Royal Forestry Society. He provides a variety of arboricultural consultancy services, primarily in South East England. Extensive experience of subsidence investigations has been gained, both for insurers and whilst representing tree owners. He is a member of the UK and Ireland Regional Committee of the Council of Tree Landscape Appraisers (CTLA) developing valuation methods for UK conditions. He has acted as an arboricultural consultant for a number of Councils in SE England and routinely supports planning applications with BS 5837 style tree reports. Internationally he has acted as a consultant to the European Commission, DFID, ITTO, FAO and the RSPB.
