About
The Consulting Arborist Society was formed in 2003 from the Arboricultural Mortgage Insurance Users Group (AMIUG) as a vehicle by which consultants accredited to this could promote their services. Since then, it has expanded to recognise eight Areas of Professional Competency. We recognise that whilst some consultants provide a • comprehensive service covering all disciplines within r arboriculture, many choose to specialise within a smaller its field. Some are developing their skills and are working to become accredited within the wider field. T T means that some consultants offer skills not yet accredited by CAS.
Membership
The main category of membership is the Professional category.
This is open to practicing arborists who hold at least one of the eight Areas of Professional Competency.
